On October 29, 1983, Lance Corporal Jeffrey Boulos, of Islip, NY was listed among the missing of U.S. Servicemen from New York, killed, missing or wounded in the Beirut headquarters bombing. They were all Marines.
LCPL Jeffrey Boulos USMC - KIA Lebanon was posthumously awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross on April 24, 1984.
