Although his burial was at Enterprise Cemetery, a cenotaph marker exists in Zion Lutheran cemetery (Valley View Rd) for this young man.

Jed Engler, age 15, 5384 Northwest Road, Bellingham, passed away in an auto accident Sunday, Dec 19, 1993.
He was born July 18, 1978 in Bellingham to Dwaine and Nancy (Morehouse) Engler. In his short life, Jed brought much joy to his friends and relatives. His inquiring mind was never still as he sought to gain as much knowledge as possible.
He has just successfully completed ground school and was aspiring to be a pilot. He was a good student and an avid weight lifter. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his father Dwaine E. Engler of Bellingham; mother Nancy Hill of Ferndale; maternal grandparents Robert and Carol Morehouse of Ferndale; paternal grandfather Gus Engler, Jr. of Winthrop, WA; brothers Ben and Jon Engler of Ferndale; sister Victoria Hill of Ferndale; step-brother Jon Hill of Ferndale; step-Mother Linnette Lamb of Bellingham; step-father Richard Hill of Ferndale; Unlces Roger D. and Donald D. Engler of Ferndale, David Morehouse of Anarctica, Dana Morehouse of Woodinville, WA and Dennis Morehouse of Lake Oswego, OR; aunts Lena Schweigert and Bonnie Asplund of Ferndale, Diane Carter of California; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec 23, 1:30 p at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Joanne S. Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery.
