HUBERT H. COLLIER

Hubert H. Collier, 68, RR 1, West Union, Illinois, died at 3 p.m. Monday, September 15, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was the brother of Septer Collier of Rockville.

Born May 12, 1918 in Clark County, Illinois, he was the son of Marion and Fairy Holwick Collier. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine. A retired farmer, he was a member of West Union First Christian Church and York Lodge 313 F and AM.

Other survivors include two sons, Terry Collier of Robinson, Illinois and Hubert Allen Collier of West Union; another brother, William Collier of Terre Haute; four sisters, Elizabeth Heleine, Opal Paddock and Betty Drake, all of Robinson, and Leone Willy of Oscoda, Michigan; and four grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel in West Union with Rev. Jim Freeman officiating. Masonic graveside rites and burial will be in York Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today (Wednesday).
