Olive Ashley Hayward, of 599 Pond Point Avenue, Milford, died at age 52 after a six-month illness. She was home service director for the Bendix Distributors in Connecticut for the previous six years and worked out of the office of Mory Sales Corporation, 308 Water Street, New Haven. Her duties took her throughout the state and she was well-known in associated business circles.
She was the daughter of Wilbur F. and Jane Maude Maynard Ashley and had lived for a number of years at Mile Creek Road, Old Lyme, up to the time of her illness, when she moved to Milford to reside with her daughter, Norma Hayward Magee. In addition to her daughter, she leaves a son, Raymond Ashley Hayward of Old Lyme, her mother, Mrs. Maude Ashley of Old Lyme, a brother, Arthur Leon Ashley of West Haven, and one grandchild. She was predeceased by her father and two brothers, Waldo F. Ashley and Wilbur D. Ashley.
