Lucinda Armstrong was born in 1835 in Canada to Henry and Martha (Guernsy) Armstrong. In 1853 she married Warren Bard Goreham in Canada. They went on to have ten children. They had their first child Henry in Canada, then moved to Iowa where the rest of their children were born. Platt 3 yrs (b. 1855 d. 1858) and Harrietta 13 days (b. 1857 d.1857) Royal 3 yrs (b.1870 d.1873) all died very young.
The ten children:
Henry, Platt, Harrietta, Martha, Deborah, Myron, Amanda, Royal, Alden, Phineous.
By 1885 the family next moved to Nebraska. In 1900 Warren and Lucinda lived with their son Alden and his wife Christina . After Warren died in 1909, Lucinda went to live with her daughter Deborah and her husband Joseph Cressey.
It was 1929, Lucinda was 93 years old when she was laid to rest next to her husband Warren at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Nebraska.
