John Lewis PHILPOTT was born Dec. 5, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on July 15, 1998.
He was born in Tahlequah, Okla., to James Robert and Leonia PHILPOT.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bobbie Lee and James Paul and baby brother Robert Henry; and two sisters, Edith Marie and Pearly Mae SHEPHERD.
He is survived by: his wife, Gloria; one son, Randell; a daughter, Susann; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, and seven sisters, Mamie, Rosie, Betty, Florene, Mickie and Ruthie, all of Okla.; two brothers, Lawrence of Ark. and Bill of Okla.
Graveside services were held in Broken Arrow, Okla.
