West Springfield-Rita (Duquette) Wigglesworth, 80, of Westfield St., died Wednesday in Chicopee. She was born and raised in Ludlow, and was a graduate of St. John the Baptist. She worked as a waitress at Forbes & Wallace in Spfld. and prior to that was employed at Westinghouse, both formerly of Spfld. She also was a member of the Westinghouse Reunion Club. Rita was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She was the loving widow of John Taylor Wigglesworth II who died in 1992, beloved mother of John T. Wigglesworth III of Enfield, CT., Gail M. Lapierre and her husband Michael of West Spfld.,MA, and Pamela O'Keefe and her husband Timothy of Spfld.,MA; caring sister of William and Elzear Duquette, and Alice Dennis, all of Ludlow, MA; George of Florida, Richard of West Spfld., and Claire DuBois of Spfld.; and devoted grandmother of Jason and Allison Lapierre, and Garrett and Corey O'Keefe. The funeral will be 9 a.m. Mon. at Toomey O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., followed at 10 a.m. by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee.
