Earl Vogel, 78, of Hillsboro died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillsboro. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church here with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery at Sorento. The Bass Funeral Home is in charge. He is survived by his wife, Agnes; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Schiff, Mrs. James Barhof and Mrs. Leo Watson, all of St. Louis; two sons, Dennis of Freeburg and Carl of Alhambra; a brother, Ernie of Panama; three sisters, Mrs. Mel McPherson and Mrs. Ada Hemken, both of Walshville, and Mrs. Anna Riggins of Smithboro; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
