Peter was the son of Peter and Sarah (Pope) Travis. He married (1st) Mary Etta Allen and (2nd) Barbara Rebecca Benfield.

(Note:) Not sure the year of birth is correct could be 1871, 1872 or 1874. Death Certificate has year as 1871, headstone has 1872, other records have 1874. I am using date from death certificate).
