Mrs. Florence P. Harvin, 92, died Dec. 23 at the Meyer Med Center in Higginsville. Services were held on Dec. 26 in the Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville by the Rev. Scott Hall. She will be buried in the Sunnyside Mausoleum in Long Beach, California. Born to Henry and Minnie Thee, Florence married Hamilton Miles Harvin on Oct. 24. 1924. She lived in Long Beach, California since 1940 until coming to Higginsville in 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Long Beach. Harvin is survived by her brother William Thee of Higginsville and sister Miss Esther Thee of Higginsville.
