Stanley Eugene Baker, Sr., 72, of Falcon, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Falcon.

He was born May 4, 1939, at Winnipeg, Mo. to William Edward and Minnie Emma Knackstedt Baker, who preceded him in death.

He also was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Baker, and two sisters, Margaret Baker and Roberta Files.

He was a building contractor, and owned and operated BBB Construction Co.

He was a member of Nebo Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Eugene Baker and his wife, Charla, of Richland; David Allen Baker and his wife, Tara, of Falcon; a stepdaughter, LaDonna Wester, of Success; a brother, Ray Baker and his wife, Shirley, of Independence; a sister, Sarah Elsie York, of Falcon; three grandchildren, Mykle Baker, Mykala Baker and Johnathan Baker; five step-grandchildren, Benjamin VanHove, Jeremiah Anderson, Alyssa Askildson, Sarah Anderson and Myranda Wester; two great-grandchildren, Bryar VanHove and Autumn Askildson.

Funeral services for Stanley Eugene Baker, Sr. will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Bobby Fletcher officiating.

Burial will be in Winnipeg Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

A memorial has been suggested to the Winnipeg Cemetery and contributions may be left at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
