Daniel Joseph Diemert was born November 3, 1919 in Langdon, North Dakota to Soloman and Helenia (Hill) Diemert. He attended St. Alphonsus Catholic School and on May 13, 1941 he joined the United States Navy, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was honorably discharged on April 13, 1947. Upon returning to Langdon he was employed by Lampert Lumber Company until 1984.
Daniel is survived by his sister Margaret Everson, Milwaukee, WI, and brother Albert Diemert, Corpus Christie, TX, long with several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward, Richard and George; sisters, Leona Scully, Alvina Varosky, Louise Moore, Lorraine Porter and Mary Diemert.
