He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was caring and compassionate. He loved animals and birds. He loved his childhood companion DOG. As an adult, he lived in a variety of places and the last years in nursing homes. He is survived by brother Darrell (Donna) Klemisch, sister Brenda (Ken) Torkelson, half brother Donald (Margaret) Oakland and half sister Joyce Skjervheim.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, brother William A., half sister Hazel Oakland Vest, and half sister Dorothy Schons Boesl.

He loved to fish and hunt gophers as a child. He always tried to be helpful when staying with any of the young families he spent time with. Danny was protective of the females in his family. Danny was always ready to make excuses for our self-centeredness. Danny tried to teach us things he didn't feel we were aware of when our self-esteem was being neglected.
