He was a native of Montgomery County and a member of the First Church of God and a retired farmer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 3, at Eastin Taul Funeral Home with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. The Rev. David Hall and Rev. Arthur Chandler officiated at the service.
