Belle Anne Akers, 10 of Fairmont passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 20, 2000 in Fairmont, the daughter of Andy and Michelle Cramer Akers of Fairmont.

Belle was a student at East Park Elementary, having just graduated the third grade. Belle loved being active with Troop/Pack # 7. She also competed for the first time in the Marion County Special Olympics and was just granted her wish from Make A Wish. She was an avid supporter of her brother's track and basketball teams and loved everything outdoors.

In addition to her parents, Andy and Michelle, she is also survived by her brother Brandon Akers at home, paternal grandfather Wayne Akers of Westover. Maternal grandparents Alfred Jr. and Janet Cramer of Shirleysburg, Pa., Great maternal grandmother Frances Cramer also of Shirleysburg, Pa. , her aunt and uncle Janette and Mike Woodward of Fairmont and cousin Cameron Woodward also of Fairmont. Several great aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Belle was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Belle Donna Akers, Paternal great grandparents Carl and Norma Williams, great maternal grandfather Alfred Cramer Sr. and great maternal grandmother Emard Croyle.

Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Pastor Chris Duckworth and Minister Kevin Lough officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawnwood Cemetery.
