Married Nov. 25, 1945 to Gladys Moore Adams

A native of the Shadeville area, he had moved to Jacksonville, Florida with his mother and siblings for a number of years, where he ran several business on Jacksonville Beach. When he returned to Wakulla County, he worked in the timber business. He was a "Sawmill Man", he operated sawmills for Mr. R. H. Gibson and cruised timber. He opened H. T. Adams Garage in 1946 in Crawfordville after marrying Gladys Moore.

He was a past member of the Florida Fox Hunters Association, member of the Wakulla Men's Club and served in the U. S. Army. He was of the Methodist faith.

The mechanics' mechanic, he could fix anything and build the parts to do it. He loved the outdoors and was a expert marksman and loved fox hunting. He loved all animals especially his dogs and horses. He was a masterful check player and was the checker champion in Jacksonville during the time he lived there.

He is survived by his daughter, Helen Adams Strickland (Albert) and Jean Moore Dykes (Jimmie). He was predeceased in death by his wife, Gladys Griener Moore Adams and son, Ralph Hargrove Moore.
