Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at David Haas Memorial Methodist Church for Col. Franklin T. Mikell, U.S. Army, retired, of Bunkie. Col. Mikell, 65, died at his home Friday.

He is survived by his widow, the former Nannie Haas, a niece of the late Dr. John A. Haas and the late Leon Haas of this city; one son, Franklin Mikell; and a daughter, Mrs. William Tebow all of Bunkie.

Col. Mikell was a Mason of long standing, a member of the Royal Arch Masons and a Knights Templar.

Attending funeral services from here were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Haas, Jr.
