"Obituary," (Everett) Everett Daily Herald, 20 December 1954, p. 23; Frank B. Kuehn, of 4823 West View Dr., died suddenly Saturday evening. Mr. Kuhn was born in St. Paul, Minn., June 8, 1911, and had recently retired from the Navy. He was a Chief Petty Officer, having served on the USS Valley Forge during the Korean campaign and was also stationed at the US Naval Base at Kodiak, Alaska. Mr. Kuehn was a life member of FOE Aerie No. 13, a life member of the BPOE Lodge No. 479, and also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2100 and the American Legion Post No. 5. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Surviving relatives are his widow, Julia, at home, his mother, Mrs. Matilda Kuehn, 2716 Walnut St; three brothers, Al of 5317 Highway 99, Jerome of 1516 Mac Dougall Ave., and Gegory of 1914 Mac Dougall Ave; one sister, Mrs. Olive Wolfe of Norfolk, Va., and one step-daughter in California. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery.
