GREENVILLE - Wilbur Edward Moss, 78, retired civil service employee, died of heart failure Friday at Delta Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mortimer Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. He was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Army and Marine Corps veteran, having served for 28 years before retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville and Veterans of Foreign Wars Greenville Post. He also had worked at the National Guard Armory in Greenville. Mr. Moss, the husband of Alice Mobley Moss of 57 years, also leaves a son, Wilbur 'Penny' Moss of Charleston, W.Va.; a brother, Aaron Moss of Leland; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
