Van Buren Woodham, 63, died Monday night at the residence of his son, Colie B. Woodham, of 1318 Waverly Avenue. He had been an invalid for fifteen years.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night. They will be announced by the Stoudenmire Funeral Home.

Mr. Woodham is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rachel Rilley Woodham of Florence; two sons, Colie B. Woodham of Florence and Ira B. Woodham of Columbia; a step daughter, Mrs. E. E. Cox of Florence and a stepson, R. H. Langston, also of Florence.

Funeral services for Van Buren Woodham, 63, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of the Stoudenmire Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by his pastor, Doctor E. E. Colvin, assisted by Reverend R. Wright Spears and Reverend Joel E. Cannon. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Serving as active bearers will be W.C. Isgett, B.F. Rivers, W.A. Boyd, M.C. Grimsley, Herman Woodham, Edward Cox, Erve Turner and Tom Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. H.W. Herbert, H.G. Stone, E.H. Mackey, C.H. Grimsley, Earnest Grimsley, James Grimsley, Dewey McCutcheon, W.H. Gilbert, H.N. Lewis and members of the B. of I. F. and E. and Amity Masonic Lodge 310.

In charge of the flowers will be Mrs. B.F. Rivers, Mrs. G.W. Isgett, Mrs. Erve Turner, Mrs. Ernest Cox, Mrs. Herman Woodham, Mrs. Harold Hutchinson, Mrs. J.W. Long, Miss Margie Grendon and Miss Edith Langston.

Mr. Woodham died Tuesday night at the residence of his son, Colie B. Woodham, with whom he lived at 1318 Waverly Avenue. He had been an invalid for the past 15 years and confined to his bed for the past three years.

Mr. Woodham was born in Florence county, May 5, 1886. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rachel Rilly Woodham of Florence; two sons, Colie B. Woodham of Florence and Ira B. Woodham of Columbia; a stepson, R. H. Langston of Florence, one step daughter, Mrs. E. E. Cox of Florence; one half-brother Hazie Woodham of Darlington and a number of grandchildren.
