Kenneth Bryan Foreman died Friday November 4, 2011 at Duke University Hospital from complications of heart disease.

Ken was a loving husband, father, PeePaw, and brother. He was the son of the late Frank Judson and Flora Jeannette Weaver Foreman. Born in Durham he spent his life there.

Ken is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anna Dwiggins Foreman. Ken is survived by two sons Ken Jr. and Kevin, a daughter Missy Foreman Covington, and a sister Ellen Kerley.

Ken is survived by five grandchildren: Justin Melton, Joshua Foreman, Ashley Foreman, Nicholas Melton, and Emiley Foreman. They are grateful for all of the love, time, and attention he devoted to each of them.

Ken attended Durham High School and he had a long career in telecommunications. He was employed by GTE, Nortel, LSSI, and Volt. Ken was involved with Holt Athletic Association as a coach and assistant coach for several football, basketball, and baseball teams.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Bethany Baptist Church in Moriah, NC. In lieu of flowers, Ken asked that donations be made to Duke University Children's Hospital or to the Ronald McDonald House.
