A service for Guy (Bud) Carlton Cline, 55, a lending officer for the Bank of America at 15th and J Streets and a Modesto resident for 18 years, will be held in the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He died in a Modesto hospital yesterday after an extended illness. A native of Lemon Cove, he was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Sportsmen of Stanislaus, the Exchange Club and the Visiting Nurses Association. He was with the Bank of America for 37 years.
Survivors are his widow, Mary Kathryn Cline, and children Douglas Cline and Susan Bicknell, all of Modesto. He also was the brother of Veva Moore, Ventura; Opal Langston, Huntington Park; Maried Cooksey, Visalia; Stella Hadley, Oakland, Leona Howard, Los Gatos, and Velma O'Keeffe, Los Angeles. Two grandchildren also survive.
