Funeral service for Mrs. Janice Maxine Yates Malner, age 51, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2004, at Laird-McGill Funeral Home, with the Rev Sonny Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery.
Mrs. Malner died Wednesday at home September 22, 2004 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Born April 3, 1953 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was the the daughter of Wade Omen Yates and Joan Aylor Yates Mooman of Douglass, Texas. She was employed as a Cardiac Rehab Technician at Nacogdoches Memorial Hosiptal. Mrs. Malnar was a Baptist.
Survivors included husband: John Malnar of Nacogdoches, Texas. Mother: Joan Mooman of Douglass, Tx sons: Robert Vance and wife Brenda Smith of The Colony, Texas , Brad Smith of Sanger, La. Step sons: Justin Malnar of College Station and Cody Malnar of Mesquite, Texas. Brother: Teddy Aylor of Douglass Sister: Terry Summer of Lufkin, Texas.And Grandchildren: Joshua Smith and Ashley Smith of The Colony, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Lilly Grove Baptist Church Building Fund 8151 FM 1638 Nacogdoches, Texas 75964.
The family will receive friends 5 until 7 p.m. Friday September 24, 2004.
