Passed away at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Sunday, October 5, 2003. Age 92 years.
Preceded in death by her husband Oscar A. Augdahl (1956), her parents Herbert and Elizabeth Thomson. Three brothers Donald "Bud", James and George Thomson. Two brothers-in-law Woodrow Braughton and John DeCelles. A sister-in-law Jean Thomson.
Evelyn was a waitress at the Sweet Shop in Winnetka for many years and was a nanny to several families in Chicago, Winnetka and Plainfield. Twenty-five year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #84, Past President of American Legion Post 1080 Women's Auxiliary. Evelyn enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting and was an avid Bingo player.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Wheatland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
