* Note not a inactive account, updated 22 April 2023 * Betty Jane West leaves to mourn her, loss, her two sons in California. One living son is married and the other is single, and a sister who was born in Colorado but now resides in Ohio, many nieces and nephews. She first married James Grover Carter in Arkansas and of that union, they had two sons. The marriage was not good from the start but knowing my sister she gave every effort to make it work. Betty divorced Jimmy and left with her two sons to live in Denver where she would be closer to her family, after being in Denver for a short time she went to Washington with her sons to visit her sister LaVaughn. Then both sisters with their children moved to California in hopes of getting bit parts in the Movie Industry. But life was hard for both sisters and there children, neither got any acting jobs, Betty decided to move back to Colorado where she had immediate family. She then found the love of her life when she met and married Merlin Fox. Merlin had also been married before with grown children. After being married they moved to Salem, Arkansas and bought a house out in the country, life was good. She loved all the flowers that she planted and she dearly loved the big pond out in the back of there home. It was here that Betty found contentment and happiness. Betty always sent people pictures of all her flowers out doors when they was in bloom. When she wasn't tending her flowers she was home croquteing or painting pictures in oils. She was proud of all her grandchildren and when she got pictures from them it was like a jewel fell from Heaven. She was focused on what ever she tried doing. She was married to Merlin until death separated them. She was a true Gem, where ever she went she inspired people. The best sister one could ever hope for.

Betty passed on the 15th of November in the year 2000 in a hospital in Mountain Home Arkansas from cancer that she had suffered from for a extended period of time. Funeral arrangements with Kirbys Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas. USA
