A native of Bonneauville, John was the son of Catherine Gebhart Chrismer of Market St., York and the late John E. Chrismer Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Mundis Chrismer and three daughters, Christine, Lisa and Leslie Chrismer. Survivors also include two brothers, Donald and Richard Chrismer both of York.
He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, was employed by Yorkaire COoling and Heating Co. He was a member of Local 520 of the Plumbers and Pipefiters Union and was a Navy veteran of the VIetnam War.
Funeral servicc es will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home, York with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Cathloic Church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
