Otto Bloch, 91, 530 N. Union Street, Ripon, WI, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Ripon Medical Center.

He was born October 28, 1914 in Green Lake, WI, a son to Gottlieb and Amelia (Weiss) Bloch.

Otto attended school at Peace Lutheran in Green Lake.

He served in the U.S. Army as a tank driver from March 21, 1942 to September 22, 1945 in the Rhineland of Central Europe (European Theater).

He farmed in the Green Lake area and worked at Rueping Leather in Fond du Lac, WI until his retirement.

Survived by sister, Margaret Alf, Ripon; sisters-in-law Arlene Bloch of Wausau and Elda Bloch of Ripon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rheinhold, Emil, Gustave, Edwin, Berthold, and Bernhard.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday December 6, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Rodney Dietsche officiating.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place at the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial to Peace Lutheran Church has been established
