Ida Louise Prunty Hume age 83 of Sweeden died Wednesday, October 26,2011 in Bowling Green. She was a homemaker and a member of the Foster Grandmother Program in Edmonson County and a member of the Kyrock United Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Mike Chambers and wife Linda of Bowling Green, Timothy Hume of Sweeden, Terry Hume and wife Vickie of Shelbyville and Bo Hume of Granbury, Texas; two daughters Debbie Freitas of Woodland California and Angela Rowden of Bowling Green; two brothers Joe Prunty and wife Shelby of Florida and Johnny Prunty of Mammoth Cave; two sisters Kathy Dismon and husband Larry of Bowling Green and Katie Hendricks of Louisville. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also surviving.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Owen Prunty and Palistine Lindsey Prunty; her husband Cecil S. Hume; one son Jimmy Chambers; two brothers Dallas and Milton Prunty and two sisters Gladys Patton and Carrie Cummings.

Funeral services for Ida Louise Prunty Hume will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church with interment in the Kyrock Cemetery. Visitation 12noon to 8pm Friday and after 9am Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kyrock United Baptist Church. Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel in charge of arrangements.

She was a homemaker, foster grandmother and a member of Kyrock United Baptist Church.
