Born July 22, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Merrill Bennion and Virginia Rogers Mackay. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survived by daughter, Heather Mackay; father, Merrill Bennion Mackay; and by brothers and a sister, David T. Mackay and wife Marchon; Janet Strong and husband Vincent; and Dale B. Mackay and wife Barbara. Preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside services Monday, June 6, 10 a.m., Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m.
