As a child, she joined the China Grove Baptist Church and upon moving to Lott, Texas united with the Hopeful Missionary Baptist Chruch.
Omadie Greer loved the land and was known for growing cattle and crops on her farm. Additionally, she was a teacher at the A.B. Davis High School for a number of years.
At her demise, she is survived by a son and two daughters; a sister Simmie Lee Greer Henderson; and a nephew.
