Greenville - Alice Capps Eades, 94, went to her Eternal Home on Monday, October 17, 2011.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Mae Alice Day Capps, and widow of James Rudolph "Boots" Eades.

Mrs. Eades worked for JP Stevens over 50 years, retiring from the Monaghan Plant in 1981. She was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church for over 60 years and had been involved in the Senior Choir.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Sanders and husband Gene, of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, James Stewart (Vickie), Danny Stewart (Debbie), Anita O'Boyle (Sean), Sandra Howes (Chuck), and Derrick Sanders (Nicki); eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four siblings.

The funeral service will be Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation from 12:00 - 1:15 pm prior. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
