My Father's Brother. My uncles full name was Samuel Elijah Coleman Choate. He was named for his two Grandfathers (Samuel Alexander Choate), and (Elijah Coleman Davenport). He survived Polio as a child; but was left with an awkward gait. His wives names were Wilma(deceased), and Betty. Uncle Sam was the father of four children, three Sons and a Daughter.
