Alvin Bleke, 81, has taken his final stairway to heaven, died February 12, 2008, born January 23, 1927. He was a life long resident of the Fort Wayne area. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed, may his soul rest in peace (God's speed). Surviving are his son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Service is 10 a.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Rev. Frederick W. Meuter officiating. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Heartland Hospice.
