Mr. Wallace died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo.. Born in Newton County to James & Hattie Wallace. He married Ruth Rion, June 2, 1934 at Neosho, Mo. She died October 22, 1962. He married Gladys Canon on June 16, 1963 in Newton County, she survives. Additional survivors include sons, Carl Wallace, & Bob Cannon, daughters, Della Bridges & Ellen Housh; 12 grandchildren, 25 g-grandchildren and 4 g-g-grandchildren.
