Funeral services for Frank J. Barta, 77, of Montgomery were held April 15, at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Montgomery with the Rev. F. J. Tomek officiating. Interment was made at the Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. Pallbearers were Ben F. Barta, Stanley Barta, William Barta, Stanley Vosejpka, Ben Vosejpka and Raymond Malecha. Mr. Barta was born on March 31, 1891, in Wheatland Township to Wencel and Rose Chlan Barta. On Nov. 23, 1915 he was married to Anna Holicky at the Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. Mr. Barta farmed in Wheatland Township until 1952 when he retired to Montgomery. He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. Mr. Barta is survived by two sons, Frank W. of Lonsdale and Ben E. of Montgomery; by eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Malecha, Mrs. Frank (Rose) Vosejpka and Mrs. Joe (Emma) Vosejpka; by two brothers, Ben A., William T. and by other relatives. Mr. Barta is preceded in death by his wife, Ann; three brothers, Charles, James and one in infancy.
