Monday, October 31, 1955

Roy H. MILLER, 59, R.R. 3, Walkerton, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at his home. Death, which came suddenly, was from a heart seizure. Mr. Miller had resided near Walkerton since 1941, moving there from Argos. He was employed as a millright carpenter at South Bend for the past 10 years.

The son of Harry R. and Etta (WRIGHT) MILLER, he was born Sept. 24, 1896, at Argos. He was married Dec. 25, 1922, to Mojeska ANDERSON. For several years he was an auto dealer in Argos. Mr. Miller was a member of the Argos Christian church; a past president of the Argos Izaak Walton club and a 25-year member of the Argos Masonic lodge.

Survivors are his wife, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Melba Jane KRIEGHBAUM, R.R. 5, Plymouth; one son, Norman MILLER, South Bend; two grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Mary SNYDER, Argos, and three brothers, Earl MILLER, Knox; Harold MILLER, Anderson, and Don MILLER, Elkhart.

Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. CST Tuesday at the Argos Congregational church. The Rev. Arthur EDWIN of Mishawaka, assisted by the Rev. Arthur WHITEHEAD of Argos, will officiate. Members of the Argos Masonic lodge will give their rites. Burial will be in the Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the Grossman funeral home.
