William F. Koehler, 90, who lived in Portland all his life, died Friday in the Masonic home in Forest Grove, where he had spent the past seven months. Private funeral services will be Tuesday at Colonial mortuary. For more than 50 years Mr. Koehler was a partner in the Gradon & Koehler drug store. He was a member of Rose City Presbyterian church, the Veteran Druggists association, Washington lodge No. 46, AF&AM, and was a Royal Arch Mason. In 1955 he received a plaque honoring him as the oldest living ex-Oregonian newspaper carrier. He carried The Oregonian as early as 1878, when he was 13 years old. His wife, Sarah Antoinette (Nettie) Allison, died in 1937 of pneumonia. Survivors include a son, Frank of Portland, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Mann and Mrs. Josephine Cahalin, and a grandson.
