Frank Gordon 'Jerb' Stephenson, 59, died April 13, 1990 at St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born in Ironton, OH August 2, 1930, the son of the late Frank and Emma (Freeman) Stephenson.

He was a 1950 graduate of Ironton High School and a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked at Allied Chemical in South Point for 15 years and then worked at the Dow Chemical Plant. He was a member and trustee of the Jeffersonville Missionary Baptist Church in Coal Grove.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice 'Stamper' Stephenson;
children; Allen Joseph (Cheryl) Stephenson of South Point, Debra Ann (Doug) Hankins of Fayetteville, OH and Carolyn (James) Nutter of Milford, OH;
two granddaughters; Hollie Hankins of Milford, OH and Sarah 'Stephenson' Board (John) of Huntington, WV;
two grandsons; Joshua Hankins (deceased) and Thomas (TJ) Stephenson of South Point;
three brothers; David of South Point (deceased), William of Ironton (deceased) and Thomas of Moundsville, WV;
three sisters, Laura Fullerton of Columbus, OH, Nancy Hammonds of Ironton and Emma Harvey of Ironton.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dorothy Gail Stephenson.
