MRS PHOEBE ROGERS IS CALLED BY DEATH
Heart Trouble Causes Death of Local Woman; Services To Be Held Today.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs Phoebe Rogers, 68 years of age. She died at her home here. The services will be conducted by the Rev C H Wieks from the home, 17 West Prospect street.
Born in London, England, the deceased came to the United States when she was 11 years of age, the family settling on a farm near Waupaca. On Sept 13, 1877 she was married to Charles Rogers.
Surviving is the husband, a son, Oliver Rogers, one daughter, Mrs Charles Carman, of Minocqua, and a brother, Arthur Lovell, of St Louis. All of the relatives will attend the services today.
For seven years the Rogers conducted the Variety store downtown but for the past 20 years they have operated a grocery store on the south side.
Heart trouble caused Mrs Rogers death.
