Albert and Emma had two sons, and after the death of her father immigrated to California.
She was very supportive of her father, John Weber, who fought for 3 years in the Civil War.
Emma was a member of the Daughters of the Union Veterans, Sarah A. Round tent number 10, and also served as president. She was identified with the Women's Relief Corps, PTA, and other fraternal and civic bodies.
Interested in music and with a carefully trained voice, she was prominent in the Orange County Choral Union when it was a leading cultural group. She was also identified with the Treble Clef Club. Emma was in various plays and musicals during the 20's and early 30's including Robin Hood and the Pirates of Penzance.
Emma Weber Chapman died of breast cancer in 1932 at the age of 59 and is buried at Fairhaven Cemetery in Santa Ana, California.
