D.J. Mills, aged 85, died early this morning at his home, 625 North Seventh Street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Mills ran a grocery store here for a number of years. For the past 7 1/2 years he has done truck gardening.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Neal, Kansas City, MO, Mrs. Fanny Wilbur of the home, Mrs. Bessie Harris, Denver, and Mrs. Beatrice Davidson, Lawrence: 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
