He was born in Lafayette on August 11, 1907. He married Dorothy Louise Richards, and she preceded him in death in December of 1977. He later married Gussie Connor, and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2003.
Mr Connor was employed by Alton Box Board, now Smurfitt Stone, for 45 years unto retiring in 1973. During this time he was a carpenter and contractor and owned two gas stations on US 52 South. He was a member of St Ann's Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking,.
He was a lifelong resident of Tippecanoe County. Mr Connor is survived by a son, Jack L Connor of Lafayette; three grandchildren, and five great-gand-children. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Frances Leman and his parents, Katherine Harrington and Timothy John Connor.
