Raymond Clyde Robinson, 85, of the 300 block of Lynnshores Drive, died Jan. 22, 2000.
He was born in Norfolk and was a retired electrical contractor who served the Tidewater area for more than 45 years. He was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church and a former deacon at Norview Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Bayside Lion's Club, and a former member of Norfolk Civitans.
Survivors include his former wife of 60 years, Louise Robinson, of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Donna Wilkins of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Lloyd Robinson and Spurgeon Robinson, both of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Richard Keever and the Rev. Will Lowrance. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or to Bayside Presbyterian Church.
