Daughter of Newton D. and Sarah Frances Baldridge Cooley. She attended school at Keytesville and also attended teachers college. Mrs. Wright had taught school in her earlier years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Carrollton and active in the Army Mothers, having held several state offices. On February 2, 1931 she married Joseph Wright in Keytesville. She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; a brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Gibson-Rice Funeral Home in Carrollton, conducted by Rev. Joe Barone.
