2) Era Mae Haddock, b. 7 Aug 1917, Chicod, Pitt Co., NC, d. 21 May 2012; she married Robert Edgar Warlick of Burlington, 10 Oct 1942; she married second, John Frank Edwards
3) Mabel Ruth Haddock, b. 6 Sep 1923, Chicod, Pitt Co., NC
By 1930, mother Flossie has died and the three girls were in the Thompson Orphanage, Charlotte, Mecklenburg, NC; Mabel was 7, Helen L. was 9, and Era M. was 11. They were listed as orphans but their father, Calvin was still living, remarried, and had a child, Calvin C. Haddock Jr. In 1940, Mabel Ruth Haddock was still in the orphanage, age 17; Era May Haddock, age 21, was living in Burlington, Alamance Co., NC, working as a beautician; Louise Haddock, age 19, was still in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, NC, working as a stenographer. Father Calvin, was still living in 1940.
