Patricia Ann Mitchum, of Moncks Corner, SC, died October 7, 2011.

Born June 29, 1949, in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carrey Gaskins and Mary Smith Gaskins. She was the wife of Edward Mitchum.

Mrs. Mitchum was a loving mother and grandmother who made an impact on everyone she came in contact with. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and faithfully served her church.

Surviving are her children, Mary Mizzell, Wesley Mitchum, Christine Wilson, Robert Mitchum and Angel Belt; brothers, Barney, John, Henry, and Carrey Gaskins and Mickey Brooks; sisters, Barbara White, Linda Jackson and Brenda Mitchum; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mitchum was predeceased by brother, George Allen Gaskins, and sister, Shirley Thompson.

A funeral service will be held, October 11, 2011, at 3:00PM at Redeemed Holiness Church, St. Stephens, with interment following at Apple Old Field, Huger.
