Mrs. Hazel C. Barnes, 79, of Lawrence Avenue, Swanton, died yesterday in HillCrest Care Center, Waterville.

She was the widow of Earl Barnes. Surviving are her sons, Roy, Richard, Robert, Dale, and Marvin; daughter, Mrs Esther Finney; brothers, Marvin, Jim, and Nelson Rader; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Biehl-Malone Mortuary, Swanton where the body will be after 2 p.m. tomorrow. The family requests that any contributions be to the Swanton rescue squad or Brailey Union Church.
