Elizabeth was employed as a telephone operator for New York Telephone and also Sears Roebuck. She was an active Girl Scout Leader and also active with St. Jerome's Parish in Brooklyn. Additionally, she enjoyed knitting, reading gardening and golfing. Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, John A. McKenna in 1993 and is survived by her loving children, six cherished grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, George and Philip Nolan, three stepbrothers, James, Paul and John Toner, and a stepsister Rosalee Garrity.
