Mary Lou "Brownie" Brown was born August9, 1928, the daughter of the late Clinton and Margaret (Pendleton) Galbreath. She was married to Byrne D. Brown Sr. on April 2, 1948; he preceeded her in death May 2, 1999.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at the DuBois Hospital with more than 30 years of service; after her retirement, she provided private duty care for many years. She was a member of the Lakeside Methodist Church in DuBois.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters; also survived by two sisters, one brother, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was also preceeded in death by one sister.
"Brownie" was well known and well liked by everyone.
