Mr. Zinnerman, a native of Hephzibah, was a member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He retired from Unimin Co. (formerly Babcock and WIlcox).
Survivors are daughters, Claudia (Joel) Jordan, Augusta; Sheila Ann (Cecil) Key, Emily (George) Daniels, Velma Z. Adderly, Hephzibah, Lee Eunice (Fred) Smith, Athens, GA, Gwendolyn (Thaddeus) Pryor, Virginia Beach, VA; one son, Rev. Vernon (Glenda) Zinnerman, Sr., Columbus,TX; one sister, Mae Bell (Seymore) James, Charlotte, NC; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and other relatives.
